Tower Trax ATV Park
Tower Trax ATV Recreation Park covers 2,600 acres in Tangipahoa Parish near Fluker, Louisiana, situated in the piney hills region of southeast Louisiana west of I-55 and approximately 60 miles north of New Orleans. The park occupies one of the few elevated, well-drained landforms in a region otherwise defined by swamp and coastal marsh, giving the trail system a distinct hill-and-hollow character that surprises riders expecting flat Gulf Coast terrain. Approximately 50+ miles of marked trails traverse pine and mixed-hardwood forest through rolling terrain with creek crossings, open meadow sections, and purpose-built mud bogs that capture the clay-heavy soil during wet months. ATVs and UTVs are the primary permitted vehicle type; the soft soils limit conventional 4x4 truck access to dry conditions. Primitive camping is available throughout the property. Tower Trax serves the New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Hammond-Covington corridor, the most densely populated stretch of Louisiana, as a primary off-road destination without requiring a long drive into north Louisiana. Event weekends and organized group rides are held throughout the year.
